Francisco and his wife Jacquelyn with their new flooring

Francisco's Story
Francisco came to the U.S. from Santiago, Chile and immediately began working for Lee Construction in Cold Harbor, New York, doing carpentry and roofing work. He continued to do that for the next 15 years.
In March aspect 2014 he fell off the roof of a restoration project they were working on!
As a result he was paralyzed from the waist down. Navigating the rooms of his townhome which was carpeted was difficult, and it caused and a lot of stress on his shoulders. This is a common refrain of individuals with manual wheelchairs. Francisco and his wife heard of our foundation through a friend and contacted us for assistance.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we were able to provide them with new flooring
After receiving their new flooring, Jacquelyn told us that Francisco was elated! “We met shortly after he came to the U.S., and a few years later we adopted a beautiful newborn. Life was so beautiful for him and his job meant everything. Despite Worker’s Comp, it has been very difficult since his accident, and his shoulders were bothering him more and more. Thank you, thank you a thousand times, it’s like God has answered our prayers for help.” See more pictures of the flooring below.
