A Beacon of Hope for Those in the Trades Living with Permanent, Life-Altering Disabilities

Never Give Up.
Never Look Back.
Remain Positive.

Introducing Joseph Groh Foundation

The Joseph Groh foundation was created to support people in the contracting and construction trades industry.

Founder Joe Groh spent more than 35 years in the HVAC industry. He started in the field and later served in leadership roles in business consulting, marketing, and sales management functions for both manufacturers and distributors. Along the way, he built lasting relationships with contractors, distributors and manufacturers. They became his community.

In 2008, Joe’s life changed after a cycling accident rendered him a high-level quadriplegic. Rather than turning away from the industry that shaped his life, he chose to become a beacon of hope for others facing similar challenges. The Joseph Groh Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals in the contracting industry who live with permanent, life altering disabilities.

Through education, financial resources, and advocacy, we serve as a lighthouse for those in the trades. Your support enables us to offer guidance and hope when the path forward feels uncertain.

Disability
Insurance and Facts

We want every contracting company to offer disability insurance to all their employees. While the odds of needing it are small, the benefits of having it when needed are immeasurable. Educate yourself about its importance along with available resources.

Securing
the Legacy

For the first 17 years of operation, the foundation was run by an all volunteer staff. Age of the staff coupled with a desire for this foundation to be viable long into the future created a need to establish an endowment in order to make that happen. Consider donating to our endowment to help ensure future generations of those in the trades will have access to these much-needed resources.
